The Role

As the Senior Email Marketing Specialist, you will have the opportunity to plan and optimise the client email journey. This includes supporting the execution of all email marketing campaigns and initiatives (template development, testing, segmentation, scheduling, analysis, continuous improvement).

For this role, you will be working closely with stakeholders across different departments and countries (key stakeholders include promotions, product, regional marketing, developer team, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, test and continuously optimise targeted client journeys/ email flows based on customer segments and behaviours
• Understand how Marketo (or any other similar EDM platforms) and its tools work to resolve arising technical issues
• Track campaign performances (open rate, click through rate) and communicate the results across the team
• Suggest improvements based on data and analysis
• Oversee and guide the email marketing team
• Support additional digital marketing efforts involving emails

Job Requirements

• Prior email marketing or database management experience
• Proficiency with EDM platforms and its analytics tools (Marketo, MailChimp, Active Campaign, Sendinblue, Drip or any other equivalent EDM platforms)
• Proficiency in marketing automation technology
• Agile and highly adaptable to change
• Highly organised and detailed-oriented
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong project management skills
• HTML knowledge is a plus
• Copywriting or copyediting skills is a plus
• Must be comfortable to speak and read conversational Mandarin (for communication purposes)
